10 murdered terrorists, captain martyrdos in Ibo

Rawalpindi:

The security forces killed 10 terrorists in an intelligence -based operation (IBO) in the district of Dera Ismail Khan, while an army officer embraced martyrdom while directeding troops from the front, public relations between services (ISPR) said Thursday.

“On March 20, the security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the District of Dera Ismail Khan about the reported presence of Khwarij,” the ISPR said in a press release, while referring to the terrorists who belong to the Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

“During the performance of the operation, the troops themselves, after the location of Khwarij surrounded, hired them effectively and turned out that ten Khwarij were sent to hell,” said the ISPR, the media wing of the army.

“However, during the intense fire exchange, Captain Hasnain Akhtar (age: 24 years, resident of the Jhelum district), who led his troops from the front, after having fighting galantely, paid the last sacrifice and hugged Shahadat,” he added.

The ISPR said that Shaheed Husnain’s captain was a brave officer, recognized for his courage and bold and daring actions during previous operations.

“During the operation, weapons and ammunition also recovered from the murdered Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the agencies of application of the law, as well as the objective murder of innocent civilians,” said the press release.

A disinfection operation was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area, the ISPR said, adding that Pakistan’s security forces were determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country and “such sacrifices of our brave young officers further strengthened our resolution.”
