Rawalpindi:
The security forces have killed 14 other terrorists in a “disinfection operation” in the Zhob district of the volatile province of Baluchistan, the military said on Saturday, one day after 33 terrorists were neutralized while trying to infiltrate Pakistan of neighboring Afghanistan.
The wing of the military media said that a “deliberate operation of disinfection” was carried out in the surrounding areas of Sambaza along the Pak-Faghan border the night between August 8 and 9.
“During the performance of the operation, 14 khwarij sponsored by India were successful and successful neutralized,” the ISPR said in a statement. “Weapons, ammunition and explosives also recovered from the khwarij killed.”
A day before, the ISPR reported that the security forces had frustrated an infiltration attempt in the Zhob Sambaza area at night between August 7 and 8, in which 33 terrorists were “sent to hell.”
The Khwarij number killed in two days has now increased to 47, the statement added, while released what he described as aerial images of the target terrorists in the mountainous field.
Terrorists of the illegal of Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), responsible for much of terrorist violence in the country, have been officially designated as “Fitna al-Khwarij”. Officials claim that they receive financial and material support from the Indian Intelligence Agency, RAW.
The ISPR declared that security forces are still committed to ensuring the borders of the nation and the frustration attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and progress of Pakistan.
The TTP and its affiliated groups fled across the border to Afghanistan after its defeat in the Zarb-E-Aazb military offensive 2014 in the old tribal regions. There, they established sanctuaries that since then have served as launch platforms for cross -border attacks.
In Afghanistan, the TTP forged a symbiotic alliance with other terrorist attire, particularly the Baluchistan Liberation Army (Bla), to intensify operations within Pakistan. Officials in Islamabad say they have credible evidence of tactical and strategic coordination between the BLA mortal brigade and the TTP.
These statements are echoed in the last report of the UN Security Council, which unequivocally establishes that the Majeed brigade and the TTP maintain the “nearby coordination” in their terrorist activities. The report highlights several complex high profile attacks in 2025 as evidence of its operational synchronization.
Pakistan has repeatedly urged the intermediate taliban regime to honor its commitment under Doha’s agreement not to allow Afghan soil to be used by transnational militant groups against other countries. However, the Taliban so far have refrained from acting against these outfits, with reports that suggest that they consider them as influence in their treatment with the neighboring states.
