14 Terrorists thrown at N Waziristan

At least 14 militants allegedly affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij, a group identified as an Indian proxy, were killed in operations based on Interelegnce in Waziristan del Norte between June 2 and 3, emerged on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by Public Relations between Services (ISPR), the Security Forces carried out operations in the Dhatta Khel area in Waziristan del Norte. “After a fierce fire exchange, 14 militants affiliated with the group sponsored by the Indians were neutralized.”

Disinfection operations are ongoing in the area to guarantee the complete elimination of any remaining threat, the wing of the media said.

“Pakistan’s armed forces remain resolved in their mission of eradicating terrorism sponsored by the Indians and restoring lasting peace throughout the country,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to security forces for eliminating 14 terrorists backed by the Indians.

The president and the prime minister, in his statements issued separately, praised the courage of the security forces and reiterated that due to their professional experience, the scourge of terrorism would be completely uprooted.

President Zardari resolved that the operations against terrorists would continue until their complete elimination, since the brave security forces were resolved by eradicating terrorists backed by the Indians.

He reiterated that the nation’s resolution to eliminate terrorist elements and defend the country remained unwavering and expressed the country’s commitment to eradicate the fitna to Khawarij.

Calling the terrorists the enemies of humanity, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that his nefarious designs would be frustrated.

He reiterated that the government and security forces were totally committed to eliminating terrorism from the country.

Previously, the federal government had officially appointed all terrorist groups operating in Baluchistan as ‘Fitna al Hindustan’, accusing India of sponsoring a war of power through these attire.
