The security forces killed 16 terrorists who tried to infiltrate through the border between Pakistan-Fanganistan in the general area of ​​Ghulam Khan Kallay in the Waziristan district of the north of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, said public relations between services (ISPR) in a press release on Sunday.

He said that Pakistani soldiers hired intruder terrorists effectively, while frustrating their infiltration attempt. He added that the security forces were determined and remained committed to ensuring the country’s borders and eliminating the threat of terrorism.

“On the night of March 22/23, the movement of a Khwarij group, trying to infiltrate the Pakistan-Affanistan border, was collected by the security forces in the general area Ghulam Khan Kallay, Northern Wazirist district,” said ISPR’s press release.

“The own troops committed and frustrated their attempt to infiltrate. After an intense fire exchange, all sixteen Khwarij were sent to hell,” he added, referring to the term used for terrorists belonging to the prohibition of Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The ISPR, the media wing of the military declared that Pakistan had constantly requested the interim Afghan government that guarantees effective border management on its side of the border.

“The interim Afghan government is expected to fulfill its obligations and deny the use of Afghan land by Khwarij to perpetuate acts of terrorism against Pakistan. Pakistan’s security forces are determined and remain committed to ensuring their borders and eliminating the threat of the country’s terrorism.”

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his separate statements, appreciated security forces for stopping the infiltration offer on the Pakistan-Fanganistan border and killing 16 terrorists in a timely operation.

Zardari said that the brave armed forces of Pakistan were determined to defend the country’s borders throughout the day. “The whole nation was with the security forces in the war against terrorism and operations against terrorists will continue until the complete eradication of this threat.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz said that terrorists would not be allowed to succeed in their dire designs. He added that he and the entire Pakistani nation met the brave armed forces that defended the country with an unwavering determination.
