- 1Password has revealed new tools for its XAM platform
- Users will benefit from compliance and governance functions

1Password, an extended access management leader (XAM) and creator of one of the best password administrators, has presented a strip of new security and agent safety capabilities on its XAM platform.
Among the new updates are improved government and compliance capabilities, and access to the application with a single click, along with the new AIs of Agent, which include a SDK of 1 pass, service accounts and the ability to store secrets of AI agents in the password administrator 1Password Enterprise.
1Password has also announced a new association with Drata to further increase the 1Password compliance offers.
New XAM capabilities
As of June 2025, the platform will also offer extended compliance with the device to allow additional IT equipment in the devices that employees are using to access web and AI applications, whether they are devices or personal devices provided by the work. A single -click application launcher will also be available in June, providing employees with a single access point to all administered and not administered applications they need.
In the fall of 2025, the platform will also offer access governance for SAAS applications, allowing IT equipment to completely monitor and automate access and discover unauthorized. IT administrators will be able to access an XAM console that will provide visibility in the user’s life cycle, surface ideas, policies between users, their devices and the applications they access.

1PSWORD AGENT SAFETY
As of today, 1Password has made available an SDK for AI AGENIC to help developers build insurance workflows through the programmatic management of vault elements. In addition, IT developers and administrators may create API keys to allow AI agents to access vaults without exposing credentials and allow AI agents to function efficiently without exposing companies at an additional risk.
The 1Password Enterprise password administrator now also offers safe vaults for AI agents, where they can recover the necessary information to access service providers, while providing audit records.
