The golden age Season 4 is not close to being launched yet, but I already feel incredibly regret to Bertha (Carrie Coon). Okay, she has not been my favorite person during the last three seasons of the successful HBO Max show, nor is it usually the most pleasant.
However, he has the weight of the world on his shoulders after the shocking last moments at the end of season 3.
Let’s go back for a second. In episode 7, Bertha’s husband, George (Morgan Spector), was left at the door of death after being shot by a 19th -century hired assassin disguised as messaging. We learn in episode 8 that he (almost) crosses, but then uses his brush with death to tell Bertha not to love her.
Well, at least he is no longer sure of whether he does. While reflecting it, George goes to New York without a friendly thought between them. Meanwhile, Gladys (Taissa Farmiga) has hooked the Duke of Buckingham, announcing his pregnancy in the final moments of the season.
In short, all this means that Bertha lives indirectly from the life of her dreams through her daughter, without husband. The golden age Season 4 will surely be his arc of redemption, but I think there are two other potential enemies in his way that we have not even considered.
Agnes and Enid could come to Bertha in season 4 of the golden age
Instead that Bertha tries to assimilate peacefully in the British royal family, potentially has two other fights in his hands: with the long -standing rival Enid (Kelley Curran) and a new potential companion in Agnes (Christine Baranski).
Let’s start with Agnes first. When the end of season 3 arrived, niece Marian (Louisa Jacobson) and Larry Russell (Harry Richardson) had not officially put on his commitment, although both have said they want to do it. This is a nightmare for Agnes because until now, it has simply tolerated the new money represented by the Russell family.
If the marriage continues, there will surely be arguments in abundance while the two families try to mix with one. Bertha had the approval of Agnes after winning the opera war in season 2 against Mrs. Astor (Donna Murphy), but that tolerance can be removed in a case.
This is where Enid enters. Agnes’s son, Oscar (Blake Ritson) has potential nuptials in the letters with Enid, the woman who was fired to be Bertha’s maid by sexually proposing George. UPS.
Once again, she is new money, and after Oscar was scammed by all the family’s money (that again appeared in season 3 of double Ross of season 3), they are bad news. Larry and Marian would get married essentially part of the Russell family, so there are more problems to enliven the possible fire of the dispute.
We currently have no idea if George returns to The golden age Season 4, but again, this could cause more problems. Bertha would have to welcome Enid to the family if the nuptials continue, and that is ready to open old wounds if George is still circling (and worse, if he decides that he no longer wants to be with Bertha).
Is this what Bertha needs in season 4 of the golden age? At all. The new potential rivalries are going to make new even more juicy episodes for us? You can count on that.
