23 terrorists killed in fresh anti -terrorist operations

The security forces in Pakistan carried out multiple anti-terrorist operations this week, killing at least 23 terrorists in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Baluchistan, while seven soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack in the dir.

According to Public Relations between Services (ISPR), 19 Terrorists of Fitna al Khawarij sponsored by India were killed in three separate commitments in KP between September 9 and 10. He said that 14 were killed in Mohmand, four in northern Waziristan and one in Bannu.

“Weapons and ammunition also recovered from Khwarij, sponsored by the Indians, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in these areas. Disinfection operations are being carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area,” added the ISPR. He said the security forces were determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country’s Indians.

In other parts of KP, according to official sources, seven security personnel were martyred and another 13 suffered injuries on Thursday after the terrorists launched an attack against security personnel in the Lower Dir District Sar Band area.

The fire exchange occurred within the limits of the Lal Qila Police Station. Although the prohibited TTP attributed the responsibility of the attack, it could not be verified independently. After the incident, heavy police contingents, elite force and directors in the area have been deployed.

As the security forces continued operations in the area, the administration of Dir Lower has imposed the prohibition of the use of drones, quadcopters and balloons. Separately, the police said they repelled a terrorist attack against the Lajbok police position late at night. No victims were reported in the attack.

Meanwhile, the Department of Anti -Terrorism (CTD) in Baluchistan killed four terrorists during an Ibo in the District of Pishin. According to CTD spokesman, IBO was launched after a warning about the presence of terrorists in the area.

“During the meeting, four terrorists were killed in a fire exchange,” said the spokesman. The authorities said the terrorists were planning attacks in the region, but the timely action of the CTD frustrated their plans. The explosives and weapons were also recovered from the terrorists, they added.

President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised the successful anti -terrorist operations of KP security forces. In their separate statements, they praised the courage and professionalism of the brave soldiers of Pakistan.

The president emphasized that such operations demonstrated Pakistan’s unwavering resolution to face and defeat terrorism sponsored by the Indians. He reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue his determined efforts until the last terrorist and his facilitators were taken before justice.

Prime Minister Shehbaz said that the war against terrorism would continue until this scourge was completely eradicated from the country. He said that the entire nation was shoulder with the staff of the Armed Forces, who were tirelessly committed to frustrate the disastrous Khawarij designs.

In a statement issued in Quetta, Baluchistan Prime Minister Sarfraz Bugti praised the courage of the CTD team, saying that timely action had avoided a possible tragedy. The prime minister reaffirmed his government’s resolution to eliminate terrorism and extremism in the province.

“The curse of terrorism does not take place in our society. We will continue our struggle until peace and complete stability are guaranteed,” said Bugti, added that the provincial government firmly remained with the security forces in their mission of safeguarding the people of Baluchistan.
