- Daredevil: born again Episode 8 is generating a lot of online discussion
- The Disney+ program has caused the spectators to discuss some of their most interesting history rhythms
- Marvel fans should get some answers at the end of season 1 next week
Daredevil was born again Episode 8 is now available, and the penultimate episode of the first season of the Marvel television program is generating a lot of online discussion.
Until now, the Disney+ series has largely kept its mainly separated characters. That all the changes in ‘Isle of Joy’, which sees Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk and other key people collide in the most explosive episode of the program to date. And, as expected, Marvel fans have had much to say about the events that take place.
Complete spoilers continue immediately for Daredevil: born again The eighth chapter of season 1.
Who really killed Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson, and is really dead?
The death of Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson, Matt Murdock’s best friend and companion, was an emotionally devastating form to begin the Marvel Cinematic Universe project (MCU) of Daredevil. That is particularly true for those of us who saw Netflix’s Reckless Television program, what Born again It is a direct continuation of.
However, while we saw Foggy die on the screen, Marvel fans have a wild theory that Foggy is not dead. After all, one of Daredevil’s most famous comic races is based on a story where Foggy is supposedly killed, but actually pretended her own death to enter a witness protection program. Born again It is somewhat inspired by that written series of Ed Brubaker, so some spectators are not convinced that Foggy has moved away from his mortal coil.
It is increasingly likely that fans are right when assuming this too. At that time, we believed that Benjamin ‘Dex’ Poindexter, also known as Bullseye, was responsible for Foggy’s death. In fact, we saw him shoot Foggy in one of the best episodes of Disney+ Shows.
‘Isle of Joy’ repeat that by revealing Vanessa Fisk was responsible for putting the blow to Foggy. Bullseye could have pressed the trigger, but it was Vanessa who started the plan that led to the apparent disappearance of Foggy.
Or, therefore, it seems. While Vanessa does not explicitly confirm that Foggy is still alive, Matt suggests so much. Okay, she only says “you need to relax,” which could be interpreted in numerous ways. However, I think he’s telling Matt to calm down because, while he breathes deeply, Matt will be quiet enough for Vanessa to tell Foggy not really dead (that is what, like me, Redditor Responsir_cod_3973 waits, anyway).
Vanessa could also have told Matt, if Bullseye did not shoot the seconds of the mayor later. But, more about that later.

If it is revealed that Foggy is alive at the end of season 1 or Daredevil: born again Season 2, there are questions that need to answer.
What scared him so much that he not only pretended his own death, but also sought Vanessa’s help to do it? When and how did Bullseye get involved in him? As the Reddit Cig_SG_Throwaway user points out, Dex tried to kill Vanessa in the last season of the Netflix program. Why, then, would I bring it to the Redile to help ‘twist’ fog?
And, most importantly, what will Matt do if he finds out that Foggy is alive, that Foggy lied to Matt and Karen, and Did this fog successfully organize his own death with the help of criminals?
Why does Matt Murdock save the life of Wilson Fush?
However, those questions will have to wait, because there is a more pressing. Namely, why did Matt save the life of his Wilson Fisk Archimesis in the mayor’s ball?
As he alluded to above, Bullseye, who escaped from the captivity before in ‘Isle of Joy’ with, according to some fans, Matt’s help (more on this fiercely discussed issue later), manages to infiltrate the dazzling event of the black tie. It seems that it also has a lonely objective to do it: kill Wilson Fisk.
It is not surprising that Bullseye wants to kill him. As directors Julian Benson and Aaron Moorhead said in a recent YouTube interview, the couple has a story.
To start, Fisk left Dex paralyzed at the end of Netflix’s season 3 Reckless Series, so they have a previous shape for * exam * blocking of speakers. Then there is the fact that Fush is responsible for making Bullseye move from the lone confine Born again Episode 8. Indeed, Fush is throwing Dex to the wolves in the hope that other series criminals will drive him.
Then Bullseye has two main reasons to search and kill Fisk on the Marvel television show Phase 5. He would also have succeeded if it were not for Matt’s intervention.
Using his superhuman audience, Matt learns that someone is preparing a loaded rifle to shoot Wilson Fisk. While Bullseye pulls the trigger, Matt throws himself in front of the shot; The bullet hitting his chest and severely wounding the titular character.
Taking into account that Murdock and Fisk have been enemies for a long time, some spectators ask why the first would not let Bullseye kill the Murdock jury adversary.

For me, the answer is simple: Murdock (and Daredevil by Proxy) has a rule without killing. It is something that has regularly dealt with Marvel Comics and its two television programs, but Murdock’s Catholic education always wins.
Of course, he almost broke that rule in Born againThe premiere when he threw Bullseye from a roof for apparently killing Foggy. Even then, Murdock was so disturbed by his own behavior that he stopped being Daredevil for a whole year. The watchman does not take his life: he saves them, so he makes sense that he will not let Bullseye mate Wilson Fisk.
Anyway, in Resta, users such as Violence Jack, Lonestar and Planetsmasher think that this moment will shake the dynamics between Murdock and Fisk again. With luck, we will see the immediate consequences at the end of season 1 of next week.
Matt Murdock intentionally released Benjamin ‘Dex’ Pointdexter, also known as Bullseye?
However, perhaps the most important topic of conversation of this episode is whether Murdock intentionally released Bullseye.
Remember, Dex received a life sentence for killing Foggy and many other clients at the Josie bar in the opening chapter of this season. And, after he moved to ‘Pop Gen’ under the orders of Fisk, he approaches Murdock to request the help of the champion lawyer to send him back to solitary confinement for Dex’s security.
As expected, Murdock is not receptive to the idea because, well, by the time the duo is halfway through ‘Isle of Joy’, Murdock still believes that Bullseye killed Foggy. Clearly still furious for the death of his friend at the hands of this psychotic murderer, Murdock attacks Dex’s face at the table he is chained before calling the pop on guard to take Dex to his cell.
On the surface, it seems that Murdock is simply attacking Bullseye for killing Foggy and then having the audacity of asking Murdock’s help. However, Marvel fans base sections argue that Murdock actually helped Dex escape from prison. In fact, some suggest that, by mistreating Dex, Murdock knew that Dex would be sent to the prison medical unit. With his discouraged hand, the caramel sociopath could get out of jail.

In fact, Reddit and Resetera threads, as well as other social media sites and applications, are full of fans discussing and/or offering their opinions about the above.
The Resetera user, Grunty, said he had not even considered that Murdock would help Dex, while Labesar believes that the former deliberately helped the second.
However, others were less happy with this possible story. In Reddit and Resetera, the fans, including Realdealace and Coiote, expressed their frustration for the possibility that Murdock has helped one of his greatest enemies to escape from jail.
Sitting directly in the fence, Planetsmasher and Minthara were less safe about the true meaning behind this contentious scene.
Based on the YouTube video that I previously linked, Benson and Moorhead indicated that they left things intentionally vague, so that fans can take their own minds.
Will we discover if Murdock helped Dex or not in episode 9? Maybe. For now, one thing is safe: if he did or not, he ended up being shot by Dex in ‘Isle of Joy’. Tata a more bullet scar on Murdock’s body, all!
