Security forces killed 34 Khwarij linked to Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij in multiple operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from October 13 to 15.
According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was carried out in the general area of Spinwam in North Waziristan which led to 18 terrorists being sent to hell after an intense exchange of fire.
Fitna al-Khawarij is the term used by the state to refer to the banned militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) since the war with India in May 2025.

Another IBO in South Waziristan district resulted in the neutralization of eight terrorists, while a separate encounter in Bannu district killed eight more, the ISPR added.
The ISPR added that disinfection operations are being carried out to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.

The operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision, which aims to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
Operation Azm-e-Istehkam aims to eradicate terrorism and extremism by coordinating armed forces and law enforcement efforts while addressing public concerns to curb extremist tendencies.
