A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 hit parts of Karachi and its surroundings on Monday afternoon, according to a statement from the MET office.
According to the earthquake monitoring center, the earthquake recorded a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 19 kilometers. It was reported that the earthquake epicenter was 75 kilometers north of Karachi.
The tremors felt at 4:11 pm, and many residents turned to social networks to share their experiences.
However, there have been no immediate reports of damages or casualties of the earthquake.
