Islamabad:
They felt strong tremors of an earthquake of magnitude 5.4 in the Federal Capital, Punjab and several areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Sunday night, but there were no immediate reports of victims or damage to the property.
According to Express News, the epicenter was located in Afghanistan. KP Rescue 1122 spokesman, Bilal Ahmad Faizi, confirmed that clashes were felt in different districts of the province.
In Punjab, shakes in Rawalpindi, Murree and adjacent areas, causing generalized panic. Many residents left their homes reciting sentences. Several parts of KP also experienced tremors, with people in Peshawar leaving their homes with fear.
