5 ‘terrorists’ killed in Duki Ibo: CTD

Five alleged terrorists were killed in a joint operation based on intelligence carried out by the Security Forces and the Department of Controllerism (CTD) in the Dubbar Mountains area of ​​the Duki district of Baluchistan.

According to CTD officials, the operation was launched after credible intelligence with respect to the presence of armed terrorists in the region. During a fire exchange, five suspects were killed in the place.

Later, the bodies were transferred to the Duki Civil Hospital for legal medical formalities and then transported to the Civil Hospital Quetta through the ambulance for additional procedures. The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed and an investigation is being carried out to determine their possible links with prohibited outfits.

Baluchistan’s prime minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, praised the CTD and security forces for his rapid action by neutralizing the threat. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protect the lives and property of citizens, stating that no commitment would be made on the peace and security of the province.

Security in and around the area has hardened after the operation as the authorities continue efforts to stop the militancy in the region.
