The Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan IQBAL, visited the headquarters of the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI) on Tuesday in Guangzhou, marking a significant milestone in the scientific collaboration of Pakistan-China.
During the visit, BGI announced the provision of 500 training scholarships for Pakistani experts, with the aim of improving skills and experience in the field of genomics. This initiative is scheduled to deepen bilateral ties and open new ways for cooperation in avant -garde biotechnology, “said the minister.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister described the genomic association as “a new chapter in the friendship of Pakistan-China.”
