Tharparkar:
With a heavy rain that tied parts of the district, 52 cattle died, in three separate incidents, after being beaten by lightning.
Near the town of Shahmeer Vekiya in Islamkot Tehsil, Lightning hit and killed 50 goats belonging to Jafar and Saendad Vekiyo. Similarly, in the town of Tagusar in Nagarparkar Tehsil, a camel belonging to Ghulam Ali died after being burned by lightning, while a cow owned by Muhammad Lanjo was killed in the Lanja neighborhood of the city of Islamkot.
The premises urged the government to install land bars, throughout the district, to help prevent human and financial losses.
