That does not mean that there are not some new films and television programs to catch the next few days. From a popular HBO Max program that has been back for a long time, to three interesting Netflix offers, you will surely find something worth seeing with our help. So, keep reading to see what’s new. – Tom Power, senior entertainment reporter

Hostén (Netflix)

Attend
Sureanne Jones as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom? If I woke up tomorrow and that was real life, I would invent me. Instead, he is playing the fictitious leader Abigail Dalton in the new Netflix series Hostagewhere he faces his country first while dealing with the sudden kidnapping of her medical husband in the French Guiana. To top it off, his scheduled visit with the French president Toussaint (Julie Delpy) is not at dawn … especially when he begins to be blackmail too.
I cannot think of a moment that we have seen two women world leaders coexist, much less work together to overthrow the evidence of a patriarchal system to which it constantly submits them. I have no doubt in my mind that Jones was going to get this out of the park and I hope this is the beginning of its rise to global stardom, just like Sarah Lancashire with experience in experience in Happy Valley. – Jasmine Valentine, entertainment writer
Eenie Meanie (Hulu/Disney+)

Attend
Ready or Not Samara Weving’s star leads the cast of this new offer of Hulu and Disney+, which sees her play the role of a problematic getaway driver. In fact, we follow her while they drag it into a crime life when a former employer reveals that they have the opportunity to save her “grewless”.
This robbery movie sounds perfect if you are looking for an action movie this weekend, but we will have to wait and see what critics think first before we can recommend it ourselves. – Lucy Buglass, senior entertainment writer
Road to a Million Season 2 (Video Prime)

Attend
While most people were watching Square game: the challenge With barley breathing (and to be righteous, I too), I was watching Brian Cox make his best ‘m’ impression on the reality show of first video video video show 007: Way to one million. That said, taking into account how expensive it was to do, I am surprised that a second season was the green light.
However, I still have a series of competition along with this. We have all wanted to stab for being James Bond. Fortunately, we can experience that from the security of our sofa, while James de Wigan shouts his head trying to earn some money. This original Amazon TV becomes more deranged from there, so it crosses. – JV
Long Story Short (Netflix)

Attend
Bojack Jinista It is one of the best Netflix programs and one of my personal favorites, so you can imagine how excited I am for the new raphael bob-waksberg cooker show Long short history. The adult animation series focuses on a middle class Jewish family and, more specifically, three brothers while experiencing everyday events while looking back in their very religious childhood.
Given Bojack It was both hilarious and devastating, I have already supplied myself in the tissues for the weekend. It has already been renewed for a second season, so there will be much more to enjoy in the future. – Lb
Invasion season 3 (Apple TV+)

Attend
Of the five new Apple TV+ programs that will be launched in August, Invasion Season 3 is the most underestimated. But, that does not mean that it is not excited for its arrival, especially since we are ready to learn the true intentions of the hostile aliens that have invaded the earth.
There have been theories about the constant attacks of aliens throughout the Apple TV+ Sci-Fi saga, but this season finally promises to give us answers. The creator Simon Kingberg has confirmed that we will see the main characters to join in a story of “discreet avengers”, so I expect a climate confrontation.
Until now, Invasion He has seen mixed answers due to his slow pace, but many agree that last season he improved largely in the first, putting the third season of the original of Apple TV in a good position to be a savings show (or defender). – Amelia Schwanke, senior entertainment editor
The truth about Jussie Smollett? (Netflix)

Attend
Before 2019, Jussie Smollett was known for her roles in shows as Empire And movies like The powerful ducksBut since then it has appeared in the headlines after being accused of organizing a hoax of hate crime.
The case of real life has more turns and turns than a Spanish soap opera, but that has not prevented Netflix from moving forward with a 90 -minute documentary about the case. The truth about Jussie Smollett? It will bring us interviews with the police, lawyers, journalists, investigators and Juresie himself to clarify the story. he The best way to obtain (hopefully) real history about the supposed false story. – AS
