The Hulu and Disney+ show is as charming as I remember, and somehow has managed to resume exactly where the previous seasons left it. If he sewed them, he can hardly see the seams. Frankly, those are two mass fingers to any other sequel to Legacy that exist. I love watching an action movie on a Friday night, but, after reading the first reviews of one of the new Primitive Video films in August, I do not put the hope for The truck. Analyzed as a comedy of robberies, it combines Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson as drivers of armored trucks trapped in a criminal ambush.
On paper, this main video film sounds like the type of plot that could establish exciting action sequences, but I am not convinced that it will deliver. Taking into account Murphy’s history with Buddy Comedies, his performance could be the only brilliant spark in what could otherwise be a car accident of a Amazon film. – Amelia Schwanke, senior entertainment editor
Platonic season 2 (Apple TV+)

From the moment I saw the trailer to Platonic Season 2, knew that the Apple TV+ series was in another winner. The BFF (and things have remained strictly Platonic) between Rose Byrne’s chemistry and the will of Seth Rogen is exactly the type I hope to have, even if it comes with too many medium -sized obstacles for two people to drive. As Apple said: “The duo does everything possible to be the rock of the other, but sometimes rocks break things.” That only means one thing … a great portion of delicious drama.
As regards me, the tension and consequences between two close friends reach much more lovers of rivalry or evil rivalry, and there is true honesty and vulnerability that comes next to the laughs this summer. It is the perfect summer comedy that they have not yet treated us, if you discard bloody accidents in the golf course. – JV
