The last weekend of March 2026 has arrived and with it, daylight saving time begins once again in the UK, meaning those of us on British shores lose that extra hour in bed. Boo and hiss.
Then I’ll take solace in the latest batch of new movies and TV shows launching on the world’s best streaming services. As always, we’ve tried to cater to as many fans of the genre as possible, so there should be something of interest to you in this week’s roundup. Daredevil: Born Again season 2 (Disney+)
The man without fear is back. That’s right, Daredevil has returned to Disney+ for the next installment of its Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) television show. Daredevil: Born Again season 2.

Set six months after the end of its predecessor, it reunites us with Matt Murdock and his vigilante alter ego as he attempts to end New York Mayor Wilson Fisk’s reign of terror. With as much hyperviolence and melodrama as season 1 and this series’ Netflix predecessor, it’s also a slight improvement over last season. For more information, see my spoiler light. With a title like this, how can you No Intrigued by Netflix’s new horror show? stranger things Creators, the Duffer Brothers are also producers, so if you’re a fan of one of those TV series, you’ll want to check this out.
Wedding jitters are common but something very bad is going to happen takes it to the next level. In it, we follow couple Rachel and Nicky during the week leading up to their wedding but, as you’ve probably guessed, something bad derails the festivities.

Facing public backlash over his potential casting as the next 007, as well as dealing with numerous difficult family relationships, Shah has a lot on his plate. Considered as a genre-bending comedy, each of the series’ episodes last 30 minutes each, so you can easily devour them. Bait in one go. — pound
For All Mankind season 5 (Apple TV)

Is For all humanity The boldest sci-fi drama of the last decade? Probably. And, given that Season 5 of the Apple TV hit covers the growing tension between the Mars colony and Earth, which threatens open rebellion, its latest installment could be the most explosive yet.
The Apple TV Original is truly unique in the genre thanks to its engaging alternate history narrative. No one else is doing anything like this and I think things will only get better as the season progresses. — Entertainment Reporter Jasmine Valentine
Jo Nesbo’s Detective Hole (Netflix)

Netflix doesn’t usually make its crime thrillers incredibly gruesome, but that was then The Detective Hole by Jo NesboArrive. From destroyed prosthetic penises to a dead woman inside a waterbed, it’s not a binge for the faint of heart.
The nine episodes are an absolute rollercoaster, and one of the final scenes of episode 10 made me sick to my stomach. On top of that, you’ll definitely never guess what’s coming next. If Nesbo isn’t the next Harlan Coben (that is, if he has all the stories adapted for an enjoyable streaming collection), I’ll eat my hat. — joint venture

Johannes Roberts’ latest horror film, now premiering on Paramount+ in the US, follows an adopted chimpanzee who contracts rabies and becomes violent, turning a getaway to Hawaii into a nightmare for everyone around him.
Those familiar with Roberts’ signature style of natural horror, including shark movies like 47 meters downYou’ll probably have a great time with this. He is a master at making us scare many animals, so Primate It’s a great option for horror fans this weekend. — pound
Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special (Disney+)

I guarantee that by the time you’re done reading this, you’ll have played ‘The Best of Both Worlds’ completely in your head. It’s really amazing how much Miley Cyrus adapts to the hanna montana care after 20 years, even if many things have changed in the meantime.
Frankly, the anniversary special is everything I wanted it to be. We revisit the show, reunite most of the cast, and even see Miley and her father Billy Ray Cyrus together for the first time in what seems like forever. Of course, there’s also a full concert, so grab your diamond jeans and feather boas ASAP. — joint venture
