ISLAMABAD:
The Judicial First Instance Court sent 70 PTI activists to judicial custody and one to physical remand in cases related to the PTI protest.
The Federal Capital Police presented 71 PTI activists before the judge on duty. Prosecutor Tayyab Raees and defense lawyers Fattah Ullah Burki, Shama Jabeen and Zahid Dar appeared in court.
Among those sent to preventive detention were 25 PTI activists arrested in a case lodged at the Tarnol police station.
It is pertinent to mention that dozens of PTI activists were arrested in the wake of the November 26 protest at D Chowk.
