80 Pakistani students submitted job offer letters for technical positions in Saudi Arabia


They are expected to earn monthly salaries ranging between 1,600 and 1,800 Saudi riyals.

About 80 Pakistani students have been offered employment in Saudi Arabia, where they will receive monthly salaries ranging from 1,600 to 1,800 Saudi riyals working as technicians.

A job offer letter distribution ceremony was held at GCT Railway Road where Provincial Communications Minister Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth formally distributed the job offer letters.

Speaking on the occasion, Skills Development Secretary Nadir Chatha said that 80 talented students had been selected to work in Saudi Arabia. He added that the students would work as Fire Alarm Technicians and Fire Protection Technicians.

He further stated that the selected students had received two months of technical training, soft skills development and pre-departure training. He emphasized that TEVTA is using all available resources to provide overseas employment opportunities to its graduates.

Addressing the ceremony, the provincial minister urged the students to work hard abroad and make the country proud.

He added that governance across the province had improved significantly under the leadership of the Punjab Chief Minister.
