“I have been trying to think about what to say and I can’t. It is impossible to express in words how much you mean for our whole family. I refuse to say goodbye, so until we meet again,” he wrote in a moving Instagram post.
Clark commented in the publication with hands in prayer and some hearts. Several others followed her. The game of Connecticut sun fever was lost on Sunday while continuing its rehabilitation.
McCaffery and Clark began to leave in April 2023 when the two were still at the University of Iowa. Both played in their respective basketball teams. A month after they started out, McCaffery joined the Indiana Pacers as an assistant.

After his time with the Pacers, McCaffery found himself in Thad Matta staff at the University of Butler. He started with Matta in September 2024 and was with the Bulldogs when they competed in the postseason tournament of the University Basketball Crown.
“After a career as a high -level player, Connor has had the opportunity to contribute and learn with one of the best employees of the NBA,” Matta said about McCaffery once he joined the program. “Those experiences will be very valuable for our staff.
“Obviously it comes from a basketball family that I know very well, and I am excited about the impact it will have on our program, both quickly and in the long term.”
