India approached us for high fire, reiterates


The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, reiterated on Friday that India had approached the United States to negotiate a high fire during the recent conflict.

Speaking to the journalists of the capital, GIV said that Washington contacted him after the request for intervention of India. “I made it clear that Pakistan didn’t want war, but it was imposed,” he said.

He clarified that Pakistan had not sought a third -party mediation, but agreed to hold conversations with India in a neutral place. Giving emphasized that any dialogue would not be restricted to a single point agenda, and added that all pending disputes, including Kashmir, must be on the table.

Dar accused India of continuing “Sabre Rattling” and dismissed speculation about an imminent visit by the United States Secretary of State, saying that such a trip has not been scheduled. He also announced that he would make a two -day visit to Bangladesh to further strengthen bilateral relations.
