Cardi B has taken the position in Los Angeles to testify in a civil trial derived from an alter altercation with a security guard in 2018.
The rapper, born Belcalis Almánzar, faces a demand from former security guard Emani Ellis, who accuses her of assault, aggression and infiction of emotional anguish.
Ellis states that Cardi hit her, spat and cut her face with a nail during a confrontation in the office of a Beverly Hills obstetrician, while the artist had four months pregnant with her first child.
Testifying Tuesday, Cardi denied that the incident once became a physical, although he admitted to having called Ellis a “B ****” during a heated exchange, according to Daily Mail’s information.
Regarding this, he told the Court: “We had a verbal fight, but it was not made physical at all. He did not hit me, I did not hit her. There was no touch. So for me, it was not an incident.”
According to Cardi’s account, Ellis, who worked in the building, began to follow her and record her on a cell phone when she left the appointment with her doctor.
According to the publication, the rapper said he faced the guard of filming her without consent, describing the meeting as an invasion of her privacy.
Ellis, who testified the day before, claimed that Cardi, in fact, spat it, embarrassed her body and hit her face with a long nail.
In addition, he accused the star of using racial blasphemies and insults. Cardi denied those accusations, saying under oath that he did not hit or spit on Ellis.
In addition, the lawsuit, presented in 2020, also states that the invasion of the creator of privacy successes used his influence to fire Ellis.
However, the building representatives have said that Ellis was fired by the medical personnel who believed that he had violated the patient’s privacy, according to the exit.
Cardi B, who arrived at the court with a gray tweed suit and blond curls, seemed calm while giving him his testimony, which was broadcast on court television.
