Queen Camilla’s sister Annabel Elliot is considered her greatest support in trying times.
Her Majesty, who finds her ‘rock’ in the form of her 18 years younger sister, also had Annabel by her side when she was crowned in 2023.
In a clip obtained by the BBC, Camilla’s sister is seen saying: “When I thought about being two years old and watching the Queen’s Coronation on a little black and white television and there went this golden carriage with my sister in it.” .
“I can’t explain the feeling because it’s so surreal. This can’t be happening. It was quite a moment,” he added.
“Going into the Abbey, I think I had that nervousness the whole time,” he said as Camilla prepared to be crowned at Westminster Abbey.
“She’s a little smaller than me. I wonder, ‘Is she going to be okay?’ she noted.
Camilla and Annabel have been inseparable since their childhood. When the queen consort ended her first marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles, Annabel took her older sister for a quiet time in Venice.
