- Adobe stock is 10 years old
- The company is implementing new missions and bonus payments for taxpayers
- Creators will finally get access to Adobe Stock content within applications such as Photoshop
Adobe Stock is about to reach 10 years of anniversary, and to celebrate the milestone, it seems that the company has great surprises reserved for taxpayers, creators and users of the platform.
Written in a blog post, the company has retrospectively analyzed how far the platform has arrived since its initial launch and its plans for the future.
We had many compliments to give in our recent review of Adobe actions, pointing out how impressive it was to add media to the site and start earning money.
Now, apparently, Adobe is preparing more ways for taxpayers to win with the stock photo site and improve workflows for site users.
What is new in the adobe stock?
For taxpayers to Adobe Stock, there are two main characteristics that caught my attention.
More ways to earn money is the big one, since Adobe Stock turns ten. The platform already admits individual licenses, bonus payment for Firefly and missions contributions, the last one will expand shortly. It is an interesting idea, with taxpayers capable of winning more to deliver specific types of content that Adobe requires.
Along with this, the platform will present the Third Bonus Payment of Firefly. Indeed, it means that taxpayers that allow the company to train its Firefly AI in its media during the past year will find some extra cash in its portal from tomorrow.
Improved integration in Adobe Apps is the second remarkable update. This is something that the company generally stands out: it only has to do how tools such as Express and Firefly are now available within the tastes of Photoshop to see how the implementation is handled.
That means that anyone who uses Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, XD, Dimension, Dreamweaver and Express can obtain a preview and license that content. Adobe acknowledges that this will provide “visibility and exposure of incomparable content.” The real surprise for me is how long it takes to do this.
For the creators and users of Adobe Stock, the main characteristics to be taken are expanded integration, where Adobe is already looking for new ways to use stock content as part of existing workflows.
It is also promising new types of content, with adobe saying that “it is quickly expanding our offers to include photos, illustrations, videos, vectors, generative content of AI, audio, templates, 3D assets, GIF.”
The company also suggests that this is only the beginning, although I am struggling to think about a medium that is not included in that list.
