Mark Sánchez, former NFL field marshal and current Fox Sports analyst, was accused after an incident in Indianapolis during the weekend that led to his stabbing.
Indianapolis Police said Sánchez was sprayed with pepper and stabbed several times during an altercation with a truck driver. A police affidavit claimed that Sanchez approached the driver of a cash truck that was on the loading docks of a hotel, which led to the confrontation.

When the incident intensified, the police said that the 69 -year -old truck driver only identified when PT took out a knife and stabbed Sánchez in defense. The former Field Marshal of the New York Jets was hospitalized with a white weapon wounds in the upper right torso, according to an affidavit.
Fox Sports said Saturday that Sanchez was in stable conditions.

It faces the criminal charges of aggression for minor crimes that result in injuries, public poisoning and illegal entry of a motorized vehicle for its alleged role in the incident.
Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said his office “would follow the facts and law wherever they lead.”

“What began as a disagreement between a former 38 -year -old professional athlete and a 69 -year -old man should not have intensified in violence or left anyone seriously injured,” Mears said in a statement.
TMZ Sports first reported that Sanchez was injured in a stabbing early Saturday morning.

Sánchez was in Indianapolis to call the game between the Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders.
