Meghan Markle’s father has revealed that he is moving abroad to live a life away from humiliation.
Thomas Markle, 80, has touched on the shame he has faced with the label of being Meghan’s father and wants to escape the ‘drama’.
Thomas told MailOnline: “I’m ready for a change. I’ve been feeling stuck for some time and I’m ready to meet new people and experience kindness.” He added that he wants to live longer in a more “calm” environment without any of the “horrible dramas of recent years.”
This comes as Thomas claimed he never met his son-in-law Prince Harry.
Commenting on the strange course of action, royal expert Ingrid Seward notes: “I think what people really didn’t like is that [Harry] He despised his family.
“I think the Spare book could have made him millions, but God, he already paid for it. Oh, he’s still paying for it.
He adds: “And I think, especially among the Americans I know, they hate the idea that he belittles his family, that he doesn’t talk to his family, that he doesn’t talk to his brother, that he’s never met Meghan’s father.
“I mean it’s very strange. Is Meghan ashamed of her father? Why hasn’t Harry met him?
