Jason Kelce Given Instruction About Swearing Before His New Late-Night Show

Jason Kelce’s first late-night talk show came with some hosting guidelines.

After taping the premiere episode with guests including late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, Inside the NBA host Charles Barkley and musician Lil Dicky, Kelce admitted he may have gone overboard with the insults. However, he insisted that he had a good reason for doing so, as these programs demand one’s “authentic” personality.

“We really wanted the language to be real and authentic to me,” he explained. “Today we went a little overboard to prepare the audience for what to expect.”

“I think the F-bombs were the only thing they told me, you might want to be a little cautious about that,” Kelce continued. “But we want to give you the freedom to be who you are, so we knew we were exploring territory where language would be allowed.”

“I think naturally that will be reduced significantly in the next show,” he added, referring to his language.
