Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) senator Afnan Ullah Khan came face to face again on Monday; However, their meeting was different from the previous one.

In 2023, Marwat and Afnan made headlines across the country after a heated argument on live television escalated into a harsh physical altercation.

This time, the political leaders ran into each other in the corridors of Parliament and instead of exchanging blows, they exchanged jokes.

They held a press conference together in which they clarified things about their estrangement.

Responding to a question, the PTI leader said that they were political workers and after the incident, they talked and fixed everything in Azerbaijan.

He added that there is no longer “resentment in our hearts; we have immense mutual respect in our hearts.” β€œI consider him a younger brother,” Marwat said of Afnan Ullah, and the PML-N leader agreed, saying: β€œHe is my brother.”

After speaking with the media, both leaders hugged and said goodbye.
This cordial exchange was a far cry from their infamous last confrontation, where a heated argument turned into a fistfight with shoving, slapping and punching on live television.
