The government’s plan sends Pakistani citizens to perform the Hajj, providing a roadmap of all the steps that must be completed in the process. The government also provides guidance and packages to assist citizens’ travel.
The plan includes the traditional 38-42 day package as well as a shorter 20-25 day option, and costs are expected to range between Rs 1.15 million and Rs 1.25 million.
The first phase of the scheme began in early August this year and received more than 70,000 submissions from Pakistani enthusiasts. The second phase began on August 11 and applicants were advised to retain their Pakistani passports until November 26, 2025, at least.
The Hajj scheme works on a first-come, first-served basis. Once payment of fees is completed, successful applicants will be able to begin their sacred journey.
