Massive, free-to-play open-world role-playing game (RPG) Where the winds meet heads to mobile platforms next week.
Following a successful PC and console launch that saw the game surpass nine million total players and an impressive 250,000 concurrent users on Steam, developer EverStone Studios has confirmed that a mobile version will launch on December 12.
This edition of the game, available for both Android and iOS devices, will feature a new user interface designed to support mobile gaming. However, this is not a simple port and will feature full cross-platform progression and cross-play with friends.

Set in a fictional vision of the historical period of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Where the winds meet It is one of the most ambitious games I have ever played.
I visited the studio in Hangzhou, China, earlier this year to learn about the production process behind the game and learn about everything from its unique art direction to its numerous mechanics.
As a free package, it’s surprisingly extensive, with over 150 hours of content to dive into, ranging from meaty Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice–Combat style with magical abilities in carefully constructed dungeons, puzzles, fishing, mahjong and even a surprisingly addictive rhythm mini-game.
It’s a fantastic experience on both PlayStation 5 and PC, so I’m certainly interested to see how it translates to a more portable format next week.
