“I think balance is very subjective, so a lot of our thoughts after the release of the DLC were how can we keep the balance in mind with what we were initially imagining, and also with that balance set, how can we take a different approach and come up with new enemies, new characters and things like that to play with that and use the new balance that we’re working with,” Ishizaki said.
“Obviously, we don’t want to make it so difficult that new players can’t access it, but I think the original idea is that when the game initially came out, there were even veteran players of some of the other games trying to figure out the new systems, trying to figure out how the game works. I think [we want our] Ideas when we work on DLC content to be a reflection of that. So whenever people who have played a lot of the main game access the DLC content, they will be able to get a little bit of that feeling they had when they first played it. night reignwhere there’s still something they’re trying to figure out.”
In terms of the challenge that the players will face, Ishizaki admitted that The abandoned holes is “definitely a little bit harder, but it’s not ridiculous or anything, but it’s still within what we would consider a fair challenge.”
