ISLAMABAD:
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday granted bail after the arrest of 153 Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists, although it rejected
the bail applications of 24 PTI workers in the D-Chowk protest case.
ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the bail applications of 177 PTI activists. Of the 48 accused against whom cases were filed at Karachi Company Police Station, bail applications of 43 were accepted and those of five accused were rejected.
The court accepted the bail applications against the sureties of Rs 5,000. He had reserved the verdict for Thursday once the arguments were completed.
