Duchess Sofia and Queen Camilla join forces to support King Charles’ great mission

King Charles had the support of the family’s most loved and trusted people as he continues his “uphill” fight for an important mission that he has pursued all his life.

The King’s wife, Queen Camilla, and the monarch’s secret weapon, Duchess Sophie, joined the Duchess of Gloucester and were present at Windsor to lift the spirits of not only the monarch, but also the team who have been working tirelessly to pull off a star-studded event at Windsor.

The royals hosted the premiere of the upcoming documentary. Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision which delves into the lifelong agenda Charles has worked towards: protecting the natural environment.

Charles founded the King’s Foundation in 1970 and, as he continues to develop the skills of young Britons, the royal women decided to honor the work of graduates of the Foundation’s programs.

Appropriately, the documentary also emphasizes the need to “reuse, repair or recycle.” Graduates designed brooches using sustainable materials, inspired by the gardens at Highgrove, the monarch’s royal residence in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.

The Queen wore a brooch designed and embroidered by Eliza Gomersall and Durga Shanthakumar, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore a brooch by Katie Dickson and the Duchess of Gloucester wore a brooch by Tamsin Lines.

The brooches were developed in collaboration with Chanel, in the course that offers students training opportunities in embroidery for the haute couture and luxury fashion industry.

Katie said it was an “honour” to design something for royalty. It also seemed like a meaningful way for real women to accept Carlos’ message in the documentary.
