- Two new DJI drones have appeared at the US FCC.
- These drones are the DJI Lito 1 and the DJI Lito X1
- They will be able to replace the DJI Mini 4K and the DJI Mini 5 Pro
While DJI devices are now officially banned in the US, two new drones appear to have been registered early enough to sneak onto retail store shelves, and they’re set to replace two of the best DJI drones currently available.
As discovered by The New Camera, the drones in question are the DJI Lito 1 and the DJI Lito
It looks like these two models will replace the DJI Mini 4K and DJI Mini 5 Pro respectively, so we’re at the entry-level end of the market for beginners. Considering that these drones were approved in November and early December, it seems that they arrived just in time to overcome the US ban that went into effect on December 23, 2025.
According to The New Camera, an actual announcement about these drones could come any time from late February to early April, with the devices going on sale shortly after, presumably in the US and all other markets where DJI operates.
Specifications and expected prices
It’s unclear why we’re getting a new product name from DJI at this stage, but the DJI Lito 1 appears to be the more basic and affordable of the two drones, with the DJI Lito X1 aimed at a higher section of the market.
According to the rumors that have emerged so far, there will be slight design adjustments compared to the DJI Mini 4K and DJI Mini 5 Pro. This is mainly based on a leaked image of a landing leg of a drone bearing the Lito brand – the FCC documents do not include any image, nor many specifications.
These drones will likely come with 360-degree obstacle avoidance capabilities, based on everything we’ve heard so far, and should also offer a range of over 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) on a single battery charge.
Starting prices are expected to be around $330 (approximately £240 / AU$475) for the Lito 1 and $759 (£555 / AU$1,090) for the Lito X1, which is roughly in line with current Mini models. As soon as DJI makes any of this official, we’ll let you know.
