We have already seen some strong toy story 5 tie-ins, from Mattel’s impressive new Woody and Buzz Lightyear figures to a real-world Lilypad ‘tablet’ from LeapFrog, and now Belkin is jumping into the mix with what looks like the most practical version yet.
It’s not a real Lilypad, but a movie-scale character-inspired case that wraps around a 10th or 11th generation iPad. In other words, it transforms Apple’s most affordable tablet (and arguably the best iPad for most people) into one of Apple’s new breakout characters. toy story 5.
Belkin has teamed up with Disney, Pixar Animation Studios and Disney Consumer Products to bring the frog-shaped smart tablet character from the upcoming film to life as a character-themed protective case rather than a standalone toy or device.

Lilypad Case for iPad 10th or 11th Generation
For the price, you get a bright green EVA foam case designed for durability, with shock-absorbing protection against everyday drops and bumps. It’s clearly aimed at younger users (or nostalgic adults), and uses non-toxic materials that can be wiped clean and designed for regular handling.
The most important thing is that it does not compromise functionality. All of the iPad’s key controls remain fully accessible, including the power button, volume up and down, USB-C charging port, and rear cameras, meaning the iPad works exactly as it normally would, just inside a much more fun case.
Belkin also includes a two-year warranty, adding an extra layer of peace of mind for what is likely a well-used (and occasionally dropped) device accessory.
As for the design, it relies completely on the character. Lilypad’s signature eyes are located on top, along with a centered carry handle for added portability. On the back, a folding kickstand positions the iPad in landscape mode for viewing, drawing or playing, while frog-shaped hands wrap around the sides and a soft-touch finish improves grip.

Mattel’s Lilypad is firmly in toy territory: a smaller figure with a compact display and light interactivity designed for play with other figures. LeapFrog’s version goes completely the other way around and is a dedicated learning tablet for kids built around the character.
Belkin falls between the two, but is closer to real-world use. Instead of creating a new device or reducing the character to a toy, simply change the look and feel of an existing iPad, keeping the full functionality intact and adding the character’s design on top.
That distinction is important because this is a cinematic-scale interpretation of Lilypad, designed to allow fans to take home what could become one of the film’s standout characters in a functional, everyday form rather than a display piece.
It also hints at something broader. Since Belkin already works closely with Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, this feels less like a one-off crossover and more like a blueprint for future character-based tech accessories, potentially in other franchises if the concept proves popular.
If you’re already sold and have a 10th or 11th generation iPad, you can get Belkin’s Lilypad iPad Case at Walmart for $49.99. It will launch on Belkin’s online store and Amazon, among other retailers, on June 1, 2026.
