- Tesla-style vacuum cleaner arrives in Germany
- Company aims to make charging experience premium
- Air pumps and free Wi-Fi spread across the network
A Tesla owner has spotted what is believed to be the first branded vacuum cleaner at one of the company’s Supercharger stands in Germany.
The site, which is located in Pforzheim, Germany, also features a small indoor lounge and now, the ability to clean dirty interiors while owners wait 15 to 20 minutes for the batteries to run out.
Like the release of many Tesla features over the years, the appearance of the vacuum cleaner seems relatively random, and no other sites report that the technology has emerged yet.

According to Not a Tesla App, the vacuum cleaner is free to use for Tesla owners, although a closer look at images posted on
We contacted Tesla’s UK press department to ask if this service is planned to roll out elsewhere in the future, how much it costs for non-Tesla owners, and what other Supercharger accessories Tesla might be working on next. However, we have not yet received a response.
Analysis: more amenities in the pipeline?
Since Tesla laid off about 500 employees from its Supercharger division in 2024, network deployment has slowed down.
In 2024 alone, reports suggest there was approximately a 19% year-on-year reduction, causing stress among homeowners because there would not be enough facilities to go around.
But the latest statistics suggest that the number has increased again: the total number of supercharger connectors reached 73,817 by the end of 2025, an 18% year-on-year increase; This includes the addition of new V4 charging stations that promise much higher charging speeds.
With an increase in overall charging sessions, Tesla has begun sporadically adding additional services in certain locations, such as air compressors in Goulburn, Australia, that help keep tires at a healthy pressure level.
But in true Tesla fashion, there’s no clear roadmap for what amenities will appear where, so it’s simply a matter of showing up and hoping your local Supercharger is next in line to shine.
