Lionel Messi further separated himself from the rest of football history on Monday by setting the record for most goals of all time in the FIFA World Cup.

Messi advanced down the field behind the Argentina attack. The Austrian defense seemed to be too focused on the ball and lost track of Messi when he slipped behind them. Messi received the pass and shot past the goalkeeper in the 38th minute and scored.
