The Management of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to hire aircraft technicians about a daily salary.
The interviews have begun for more than 100 candidates who have completed the learning in PIA and are being considered for employment -based employment. The engineering department officials have called for learning candidates for interviews.
To address scarcity in the Department of Engineering, PIA will recruit more than 100 technicians in the form of a daily salary, said Express News.
However, a decision on the recruitment of aircraft engineers has not yet been made. The last new lot of aircraft engineers was recruited in 2016.
A PIA spokesman confirmed the decision to hire technicians about daily salaries to address shortage, and interviews for candidates have already begun.
The spokesman for the Society of Aircraft Engineers also confirmed the new recruitments.
In particular, 65 technicians and 45 aircraft engineers have renounced PIA and joined national and international airlines.

Senator Sherry Rehman raised concerns about the future of the airline, questioning whether the privatization plan had been canceled or if he still continued. He also stressed that only 19 of the 34 PIA aircraft are operational, with the rest punished.
