Police arrested four women involved in an important robbery at home in Lahore model, recovering RS60 million in cash and stolen articles worth the value of additional RS30 million, authorities said on Monday.

The arrests were made under the supervision of DIG Crime Organized Imran Kishwar after directives of CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana.

Stolen articles include jewelry, mobile phones, luxury watches, perfumes and foreign currency.

The suspects, identified as healthy (wife of Humayun), Anam (wife of Nader Masih), Shahnaz (wife of Javed Masih) and Shaiba (daughter of Humayun), were arrested during the raids coordinated in Lahore, Kasur and fine.

Police revealed that healthy and Shahnaz, who worked as domestic assistants, orchestrated theft with the help of Anam and Shaiba.

The investigations also revealed that Sana had anterior criminal record.

CCPO Kamyana praised the Organized Crime Unit (OCU) team for their rapid action, granting officers with certificates and cash awards during a special ceremony attended by Dig Imran Kishwar.

The winners of the award included Inspector Shahid Hussain, the sub -inspector Badr Zaheer, thus Nisar Ahmed and several agents who played a crucial role in the operation.

Going to the public, Kamyana urged citizens to verify police charges before hiring domestic workers and registering their details with local police stations.
