The Development Labor Party of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) (DWP) approved on Wednesday the PC-1 for the update, restoration and transformation of the Vivera CDA in Park Road and its conversation in a center of Gardenia .
The 72nd Meeting of the DWP was held on Wednesday at the headquarters of the CDA and was assisted by senior officials of the Division of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, the Ministry of Interior (MOI), the Finance Division, the Board members of CDA and other relevant authorities. .
During the meeting, the PC-1 was approved for the project to update and restore the CDA nursery in Park Road and make it the center of Gardenia. The estimated cost of the project is approximately RS652,819 million. The objective is to transform the CDA nursery in a model center with various comforts.
This initiative is aligned with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, who announced the project during the inauguration of the Exchange/Paso elevated F-8 on December 24, 2024.
It is expected that the CDA nursery, located in Park Road in Islamabad and covers 50 acres, becomes an important horticultural center under the Gardenia Hub project. The plan includes the construction of flowers and coffee shops.
The project will have avant -garde greenhouses, controlled and ventilated to cultivate a variety of plants. In addition, a nursery center for the propagation of tissues and a sustainable drip irrigation system will be established.
A designated area for colorful flower exhibitions will also be provided. The integral design of the project reflects CDA’s commitment to improve green spaces in Islamabad and promote environmental sustainability. Transforming the nursery in the center of Gardenia is a step to make Islamabad a greener and more vibrant capital.
