The ambassador of the Popular Republic of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zedong, asked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the home of the Prime Minister in Islamabad.
The meeting focused on discussions related to economic cooperation and security issues between the two nations.
The prime minister extended his warm wishes to the Chinese ambassador to the Chinese New Year and transmitted the best wishes for Chinese leadership celebrations, as well as the Chinese community that resides in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed the hope that the New Year further strengthens the friendship between Pakistan and China and brings prosperity to the peoples of both countries.
In response, the Chinese ambassador thanked the prime minister and the people of Pakistan for his good wishes, extending greetings for the new year to the government and the people of Pakistan.
