A flight from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on the road from Lahore to Dubai escaped by little of a great accident after a bird strike. The incident occurred when the bird hit the airbus plane engine on the PK 203 flight.

The captain quickly contacted the air traffic controller and requested permission for an emergency landing. The plane, which transported more than 150 passengers, was terrified safely by the captain.

The PIA engineering team will be sent from Karachi through Flight PK 304 to Lahore airport for additional inspection. The equipment will perform a boreoscopic inspection to evaluate any damage to the aircraft engine caused by the bird strike.

Previously, Pia resumed his flights to the European Union (EU) and hoped to recover the flight operations to the United Kingdom (United Kingdom) after a pause of more than four years.

The sources revealed that the British Security Committee was ready to review the request for resumption of PIA at a meeting on March 12.

The meeting would include the presentation of the latest audit reports of PIA and the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. If approved, direct flights would be restored to the United Kingdom.

Pia’s Management remained optimistic about approval and had prepared a plan to resume the flights of London, Manchester and Birmingham upon receiving authorization.

A two -member PIA team had recently returned to Pakistan after evaluating preparations for operations in the United Kingdom.

The EU and the United Kingdom had imposed a temporary prohibition of PIA in June 2020 after a revelation in the Pakistani Parliament on pilots who have false licenses. Pia’s flight operations were resumed on January 11.
