Imran will not reach any treatment: Aleema

Rawalpindi/Peshawar:

PTI’s founding president’s sister, Imran Khan, Aleema Khan, said her brother remained defiant despite pressure tactics, stating that she would never reach an agreement to ensure her freedom.

She claimed that the former spouse of former Prime Minister Bushra Bibi was arrested in lonely confinement to break her mentally and force PTI’s founder to an agreement.

“Pressure is exerted directly on the orders of the Army Chief, who directs a colonel to apply the pressure,” he said, added that “the rules of the prison and judicial orders have no value here.”

“He said clearly at our meeting that no matter how much pressure they apply, he will not negotiate,” he said as he talked to the media after meeting Imran in Adiala prison on Tuesday.

He also ruled out the reports of his health deterioration, saying that he is “completely good” and received all the necessary facilities in prison.

Aleem also revealed that she, along with Salman Akram Raja and the general lawyer of the KP, Shah Faisal, was arrested two kilometers before reaching jail and had to wait 50 minutes before I was allowed to enter.

She said that Imran was denied three meetings scheduled with Bushra Bibi, with the prison authorities “orders from above” as the reason. He also fired the alleged filtered audios attributed to her, calling them false.

Separately, the opposition leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, has dismissed the state -door negotiation statements, questioning the government’s economic narrative. “Who is trying to deceive the government? What economy is really working?” He said while heading to the media in Peshawar.

He accused the government of intensifying police brutality throughout the country, particularly in Punjab, and criticized the restrictions imposed on lawyers who met with Bushra Bibi and Imran.

“There is no rule of law in Pakistan. We are fighting for the release of our imprisoned colleagues. PTI demands transparent elections,” he added.
