Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have published their joint statement and shared exciting news after returning to California from Canada.
The Royals resorted to their Archewell Foundation website and shared the exciting news.
They revealed that Dr. Nelson accepted the Digital Civil Rights Award of Naacp-Archewell during the NAACP Hollywood office symposium in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the AI policy and the progress of civil rights.
They said that every year, the NAACP gives an individual with the Naacp-Archewell digital rights award. This award celebrates leaders who advance civil rights in digital spaces and lead the way to build a better world online.
The Archewell Foundation is delighted to congratulate this year’s recipient, Dr. Alondra Nelson, sociologist and leader in artificial intelligence (AI).
In recognition of her work, Dr. Alondra Nelson will receive a subsidy of $ 100,000 to promote her work.
It joins the previous receptors of the Digital Civil Rights Awards Naacp-Arquewell: Dr. Safiya Noble (2022), Nabiha Syed (2023) and Dr. Joy Buolamwini (2024).
