Gemini could be integrated into Siri very soon, since the new code in iOS 18.4 Beta suggests a functionality of the AI model for Apple Intelligence.
The functionality of Google Gemini in Siri, with Intelligence of Apple, would allow users to ask more difficult Google Ai questions than Siri can currently answer. This would be available as an alternative option for the integration of Chatgpt, although we are not sure whether you will need to choose or if you can access different models of IA depending on your consultations.
In WWDC 2024, when Apple released Apple’s intelligence, Craig Federight said: “We also intend to add support to other AI models in the future.” After the Integration announcement of Chatgpt Siri, it would now seem that Gemini is the next model of doing the same.
According to @aarop613 in X, there is a reference to “Google” as part of “Choice_options” together with Chatgpt integration already available. This would imply that Gemini could be available in Siri as soon as the official launch of iOS 18.4, which is expected at some point in the coming months.

This would not be the first time that Apple and Google work together, companies have had a lucrative agreement to include Google search as the predetermined search engine in Safari in iOS for years, and despite being direct competitors, they see the benefits for Work together.
Google recently launched Gemini 2.0 Flash, which is an incredible multimodal AI model that can face the best operai to offer. Gemini’s implementation in Siri would give Apple Intelligence an advantage over other smartphone offers by incorporating multiple models into a user experience.
If Apple’s goal is to continually increase AI models in Siri with Apple Intelligence, users will benefit from a wide range of functionality, and that is just something good. While we do not know when to wait for Gemini’s integration in Siri, this Code points towards the arrival of Google AI in the not too distant future.
