The Sindh School Education Department has announced changes in the annual matrix and intermediate exam program due to Ramadan.

According to the reviewed schedule, annual exams for ninth and tenth grade students will now take place from April 7 to April 25, after EID-UM-FIT. Meanwhile, practical exams will take place from March 10 in schools throughout the province, including Karachi.

Initially, the matrix exams were scheduled to begin on March 15, but were reprogrammed considering Ramadan. Similarly, intermediate exams (1st and second year), which would originally begin on April 15, will now begin on April 28.

This decision was terminated at a subcommittee meeting of the Steering Committee. The authorities emphasized that the change aims to guarantee a softer exam process during the holy month, accommodating the students of the students.

The new schedule has communicated to all relevant educational institutions, and students who prepare accordingly are advised.

Previously, the Department of Education of Punjab has announced revised times for schools throughout the province during the Sacred Month of Ramadan.

According to the notification issued by the Department, double -turn schools will operate from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm for the first turn.

The second turn will run from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, while on Fridays, times will be adjusted at 2:30 pm at 5:00 pm

The times reviewed aim to accommodate students and staff during Ramadan while guaranteeing that educational activities continue without problems.
