President Donald Trump became the first president to attend Daytona 500 twice when he visited the race track earlier this month.

He met with some drivers in Pit Lane before riding in the presidential limousine, “the beast”, since he took a rhythm turn before the green flag flew.

He also gave the pilots a speech before the race.

Trump’s day was reduced because the race was delayed for a few hours due to the bad weather that passed through Daytona Beach, Florida, during the course of that afternoon. William Byron won the race for the second consecutive season.

He spoke with Pak Gazette Digital about what it meant for the sport that the president attended the biggest race of the season.

“It was quite good,” said Byron. “I think that every time you can make a acting president come to see your sporting event, it is very special. And to take the time to do it, it was really great. Just to be able to see the caravan cross the track and only the Various things he did when he was there were great.

“He brought a lot of energy and emotion to the race before he began.”

Byron collected the victory of the 14 Cup of his career and entered the multiple winners of Daytona 500 winners.

He told Pak Gazette Digital the feeling of being a career winner at various times that he finally sank during the last week or so.

“I feel that it took me a few days to participate, but since then, I guess last Friday, I have been able to have a little more time to think about it,” he said. “It has definitely been special, and I want to try to win more races this year. But it was definitely a great start and something that means a lot for our team.”

Byron became a brand ambassador for Celsius.

“It is a rather natural adjustment for me just exercising quite frequently and training for races, and Celsius encourages everyone to live in form,” he said. “So, I feel that it is a really important association for me because I use the product a lot, so I think it fits very well.”
