Two women sued Patrick Beverley, claiming that they suffered wounds after former Milwaukee Bucks fired a basketball towards their faces from the almost blank range.
During the defeat of his team’s playoffs against the Indiana Pacers who finished his season, Beverley was sitting on the bank when he stood up and threw a basketball to a fan of the Pacers sitting behind the team of the team, hitting the fanatic directly in the head.
He appeared to move to recover the ball, and when he was returned, he threw the ball again to another fan, who could divert it.

The coaches and other players entered the fray and tried to calm the situation, but Beverley seemed to continue exchanging words with fans sitting behind him.
Women claim that they are still experiencing medical expenses, mental anguish, humiliation and lost salaries of the incident in which both say they suffered immediate injuries.
Less than a week later, Beverley showed regret, saying that it was an “unfortunate situation that should never have happened.”
“What I did was bad, and that should never have happened. I have to be better, and it will be better. And that should never have happened,” said Beverley In his podcast. “Regardless of what was said, that should never have happened. Simple as that.”
The initial reports say they arrived after a fan said “Cancun in Tres”, but Beverley said it was “more than that” and that it was called a name that is apparently NSFW.

“They have called me many things in this league, they have not called me that way,” he said. “Still inexcusable. It doesn’t matter what was said. I have to be better and I will be better.”
Beverley said security had approached him before in the game and asked if he wanted certain fans to expel, but declined, saying that he doesn’t even want fans to be expelled for a simple garbage talk.
“I’m not expelled from fans. People who spend money to see us. I will not expel them,” Beverley said.
However, this certain fan “crossed the line.”

“We are in the tray line. I am in the bank with the ball. Fan to the right of me to say something crazy. He puts me up: ‘Hey, man, you can boo me but don’t call me like that.’ “It seems to me: ‘Man, you can say anything, just don’t be disrespectful.’ He also apologized.
The NBA suspended it for the incident, but is currently playing in Israel.
