A high -level defense delegation led by Major General Burkhonov Akhmad Jamalovich, Deputy Minister of Defense and Commander of the Air Defense Forces and the Air Force of the Republic of Uzbekistan, called the head of air Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, head of the air staff of the Pakistan Air Force on Airquarters, Islamabad.
Affairs related to mutual interest, the ways to improve bilateral military cooperation, joint training and technological collaboration in aerospace domains were discussed during the meeting.
Upon arrival, a contingent of the Pakistan Air Force presented Major General Burkhonov Akhmad Jamalovich.
During the meeting, the head of the air staff highlighted the robust bilateral military ties between the two fraternal countries and assured that PAF undertakes to extend the total support of the basic training at the tactical level for the pilots, as well as the technical training of the maintenance equipment for the development of the capabilities of the Uzbekist Air Force personnel.
The air chief also said that both Pakistan and Uzbekistan enjoy long -date religious and cultural ties that are based on convergence on all important issues related to regional peace and security.
