The former vidings player calls Walz ‘misfortune to football’ about the inclusion of trans athletes

The former Minnesota Vikings soccer player and the University of Minnesota, Jack Brewer, will join the Riley Gaines conservative activist for a demonstration in his native state on Monday to press a bill to prohibit transgender athletes in women’s sports.

The “Girls Preservation Sports Law” approved in the State Education Policy Committee on February 20 and will be voted in the House of Representatives on Monday. If it passes there, you will go to Governor Tim Walz’s desk, where it is expected to be vetente because Walz is a firm defender of transgender rights.

Brewer, the founder of the Jack Brewer Foundation, told Pak Gazette Digital that he finds Walz’s “disgusting” pro-trans positions, especially considering that Walz was a secondary school soccer coach in Mankato West High School in the 1990s.

“It is absolutely unpleasant, and that is why, when you see and see its gestures and the way it takes itself, you know that this guy does not attract men and children that have really fought him against the grill, man. I have nothing in common with this guy,” Brewer said.

“I think it’s a misfortune for the world of football to be honest.”

In April 2023, Walz signed the bill of “trans refuge” that protects people who seek and provide attention affirmed by gender in the state. Recently, Minnesota has been investigated by the United States Department of Education to challenge the recent executive order of “No Men in Women’s Sports” by President Donald Trump because Minnesota has continued to allow Trans athletes to compete against girls in high school.

How the transgender in sports changed the 2024 elections and lit a national counterculture

Walz’s daughter, Hope Walz, recently went viral for a series of Tiktok videos in which she spoke against Trump’s executive order and in defense of transgender athletes.

Brewer hopes to have a conversation with the governor on this issue.

“When I get there on Monday, if he invited me to his office and had a conversation about this, he would respectfully accept it,” Brewer said. “I would tell him that I know that at the bottom of his heart he does not believe in it.

“I think that in the heart in his heart he knows that he is wrong. I think he is trying to attract a liberal base of the extreme left … and raise money. These LGBTQ groups donate a lot of money, particularly in Minnesota. Then, the money and the power they have really promoting this legislation.”

Brewer does not expect Walz to sign the bill if he reaches his desk.

“You know he won’t because it’s just who has continued to be,” Brewer said. “I pray to change your mind and a awakening, but I am sure that if you sign it, it will only be because the money train is over.”

Gaines also told Pak Gazette Digital that he does not expect Walz to sign the bill.

“I am quite sure that Governor Walz would veto this bill,” Gaines said. “But even if you do not have the best possibility of being signed, it is so important that we have these members, these representatives, these senators, in the registry. Are they standing with women or not?”

Walz’s office did not respond to Pak Gazette Digital comments before the publication.
